Job title: Multi Skilled Technician (Electrical Bias)

Location: Salford Royal Hospital Eccles Old Road M6 8HD

Length: 3 months initial contract to extend

Work hours: Mon-Fri 08.00-16.00

Pay Rate: £17.50/hour PAYE

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Technician (Electrical Bias) for a FM Services and Engineering company.

This role requires you to undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of plant, services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding. Some of other duties include;

Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision.

Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment, and machinery, without supervision, as appropriate to his/her grade.

After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces.

*

To carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor.

Requirement to learn new techniques with training, as necessary.

Scope of work will include entering departments containing service users undergoing various treatments/procedures after reporting to departmental staff. Occasional exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances could be encountered.

Key Skills/Experience:

Previous experience in the same role

NVQ Level 3

*

Electrical Installation – Approved apprenticeship

Driving licence
