IT Support Engineer - 1st / 2nd Line
Location: Peterborough / Hybrid Working
Salary: £30,000
Role:
The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for working customer logged tickets day to
day, providing troubleshooting and support to our wide customer base.
Skills / Experience Required:
• Previous IT Helpdesk experience
• Customer Service / Customer facing skills
• Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
• Office 365 (Admin)
• Windows 10/11 (troubleshooting, maintenance, repair)
• PC/Server hardware (Servers, PCs and laptops)
• Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
• PowerShell/Batch creation
• Remote Access Tools (Splashtop, Datto RMM, Teamviewer, VPN, RDP, etc)
• Remote Monitoring and Management tools (Datto RMM)
• Networking (IPv4, IPv6, VLAN) creation, support and troubleshooting
• Router/Switch knowledge/configuration
• Security tools (AV, AM, Spamfiltering, Web Filtering, etc)
• Understanding Change Control Process
Desirable (not essential)
• Driver’s License
• Cisco/Unifi/HP configuration
• Ex-forces
• Autotask / Datto RMM Knowledge
• ITIL v4
• Project Management
• Experience with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, PCI/DSS compliance
