Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Ford & Stanley Talentwise are seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer who will help keep the NHS up and running and ensure the show goes on a various UK festivals by maintaining and repairing diesel generators for a business that has tripled in size over the last 3 years.

The Opportunity

As a Mechanical Service Engineer, you will perform fault finding and root cause analysis on electrical and mechanical systems of generators across various industries, using diagnostic software and in-depth testing to identify failures and carry out maintenance and repairs. This will be a role where no two days will be the same.

Location: Field Based – Successful candidate will be expected to cover the North London area.

Shifts:  Mon-Fri days

Salary: OTE 55K

Key Role and Responsibilities

Mechanical Service Engineer’s are expected to diagnose faults, repair and replace major components.
Conduct routine maintenance on various diesel generator sets to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and address electrical and mechanical faults promptly, executing necessary remedial repairs with precision.
Identify and procure parts for both remedial and preventative maintenance tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Generate detailed and accurate reports in alignment with established standards.
Coordinate to schedule repairs and services, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution.
Essentials:

Full UK Driving Licence
Generator/Commercial/HGV/Bus/Rail/Ex-Forces experience
Fault finding and root cause analysis experience
 The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be Mechanically biased with experience working with Generators, Diesel Engines, HGV, PSV, Commercial vehicles, or public service vehicles.
