Barker Ross is re supporting a client who is recruting for a Class 2 Tramper in the Corby area.

Our client is a trusted supplier of building materials to new build housing sites.

Working hours:

Various AM start times, usually it is a 10 to 12 hours shift (Depending on how many nights out and what kind of deliveries there is. They can have a lots of local runs one week and only long distance the other week.)

Pay:

£13p/h +£25 for each night out

Role Overview:

As a Class 2 Tramper Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering building materials to new build housing sites across England and Scotland. This position involves tramping away from home during the week, with overnight stays in the vehicle.You will operate a Class 2 vehicle and ensure the safe and timely delivery of materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver building materials to new build housing sites.
· Load and unload materials efficiently, following delivery schedules and customer requirements.
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
· Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel.
· Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.
· Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements:

· Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
· Driver CPC qualification.
· Previous experience as a Class 2 driver, at least 12 months.
· Willingness to tram away from home during the week and stay overnight as needed.
· Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
