Rate: £300 - if you do not hold STE05

Rate: £400 - £450 - if you do hold STE05

A Building Surveyor is required to undertake annual property inspections in the Blackpool and Cumbria areas. You will carry out condition surveys on the railway building assets, such as stations and depots, and report on their condition to agreed deadlines and relevant company standards. In this role you will liaise with Asset Engineers to contribute and assist with the development of robust assets management strategy and ongoing maintenance and renewal plans in line with safety priorities. The role may require occasional working away from home, working nights and weekends as required by the business.

As the Building Surveyor, you will be educated to a degree level in Building Surveying or an equivalent discipline. Ideally, you will have some previous experience of carrying out condition surveys. The Client will also pay a higher day rate for candidates with previous experience in the railway industry, who have achieved their STE 05 qualification.
