Deputy Manager

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the skills and dedication to manage a unique and challenging environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join a team for a 2-bed home in PR3.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and support to the team, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding.
Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of the young people.
Work closely with social workers, healthcare providers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each young person.
Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a residential care setting.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Ability to manage challenging behaviour and provide emotional support to young people.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Must be a driver due to the rural location of the home.

Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in social care, child care, or a related field.
Experience working with high-risk children or those under DoLs orders.
