Senior Transport Planner required for leading Road Transport company based in Bradford.
Senior Transport Planner Must have UK Road Transport Planning experience and experience in General Haulage or UK multidrop + European Road
CPC essential for future steps into Transport management
The Package :
Salary £30K - £34K
28 days holiday
Pension
Hours : 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday - or similar
The Role:
The Senior Traffic Planner will be planning routes dealing with UK road haulage for a fleet vehicles
The Senior Traffic Planner will ensure the team will effectively plan vehicle routes by fully utilising own vehicles to the required levels of customer service, whilst also adhering to Drivers hours legislation and maintenance requirements..
The Traffic Planner will issue drivers with clear instruction and react to any changing situation that develops on a day to day basis.
Manage vehicle routing processes at minimum cost to successfully deliver customer requirements
Transport technical and operational knowledge and experience; experience and ability to manage a large team of drivers in a fast-moving operational environment.
Responsibility for sub contracted vehicles.
Requirements:
Experience planning UK Road Transport
CPC ESSENTIAL
Experience with General Haulage / Multidrop
