Science Teacher

I am looking for a full time Science Teacher who can teach to KS4. The position is based at a school in Leeds on long term supply from end of May 2024 until end of academic year. Once this role ends, we work with other schools who also have other Science vacancies - so will commit to finding you a new role.

You will be expected to plan an interesting and well rounded curriculum, taking into account the interests and needs of all your students. You will possess outstanding subject knowledge and be abreast of the changes in the curriculum. It's a long term post so you might be expected to take part in CPD in the school, where you will then look to apply it to your daily teaching practice

Key Requirements:

- Exceptional Subject Knowledge and able to teach Science to KS4

- An ability to create an ethos and which enables all students to achieve their potential

- A in depth understanding of how ICT can be used to enhance learning for students

- A track record of raising standards - whether this be in the classroom with student behaviour or attainment, but also a commitment to raising your own standards for what you can deliver

- Can engage well with students of all ability levels
