As a HVAC Design Engineer, you will be bringing your extensive experience and strong technical background to unleashed craft cutting-edge HVAC systems and be responsible for management of projects throughout the installation and commissioning phase through to client handover.
Your role will have you deep-diving into the world of detailed design calculations—tackling heating and cooling loads, psychometrics, airflow rates, ductwork pressure drops, and equipment sizing. Beyond the desk, you'll be conducting offshore surveys, capturing the essence of HVAC systems, and transforming that insight into comprehensive reports and recommendations, complete with design and cost proposals.
Desirables? A valid offshore BOSIET/FOET and OGUK medical. Qualifications? A BEng or BSc in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering is fantastic, but if not, experience in a similar role will be considered. Tech skills? AutoCAD/MEP experience is a must, and if you've got a knack for digital twins, that's the cherry on top! Your journey requires experience and demonstrable skills in HVAC design systems, aligning seamlessly with relevant UK and international codes.
This is not your ordinary desk job, this is a Hybrid role, working Monday and Tuesday from their office based in Aberdeen and 3 days at home as well frequent travelling both offshore and overseas (could be 1 week per month), so dust off that passport! It would be desirable to hold a valid offshore BOSIET/FOET and OGUK medical.
