Accounts Administrator – Iver, SL0 – Part-time, Permanent position
Office based role, 5 days p/w - For example = Mon - Fri 10am - 3pm / 9.30am - 2.30pm
We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a small, friendly team based from offices in Iver. This will be a busy role and could be suitable for a junior person who has an interest in Finance / Accounts and is willing to learn, as full training can be given.
Some previous experience in a Finance based role would be great, and if you have an AAT Qaulification this would be a huge bonus! However, training can be given for the right candidate who is enthusiastic & willing to learn.
Main duties will include:
* Raising all client invoices, including credit checks if necessary
* Enter and maintain all employee expenses, including Directors
* Chase up customers on a weekly basis for any overdue invoices
* Batch and prepare all necessary payments
* Manage all company expenses
* Enter and maintain all supplier invoices
* Produce on a monthly basis a bank reconciliation statement
* Produce on a monthly basis Credit Card reconciliation statement
* Produce a monthly report for payment run
* Processing Sub Contractor invoices and time sheets
* Log all incoming payments from clients and maintain records
* Ensure all transactions are entered accurately, without errors
* Yearly: liaising with the accountants to assist in year-end requirements
You may also be required to complete other works as requested by the Office Manager or the Directors, such as assisting with adhoc typing of documents and sales invoice processing. As they are a small team they require someone who is hands-on and willing to help out, with a “can do” attitude and positive, friendly personality.
Desired Skills / Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar Accounts Admin / Financial type role
* Finance related qualification eg AAT preferred, though not essential
* Competent with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
* Systems and process orientated, with excellent attention to detail
* Professional and confident telephone manner/customer service skills
* A pro-active self-starter, happy to take ownership of tasks
* Friendly personality and a great team player!
Full training will be provided if necessary and there will be free parking on-site. *Please note, you must be a car driver!
