CAD Technician
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with one of the leading Design and Build companies. Due to key contractual growth, our client is now looking for a CAD Technician to work within their Coventry office.
This role revolves around the design of Packaged Plant Rooms, Modular Systems and Packaged Heat Pump Solutions, to support the multi-million-pound commercial projects.
Key duties of the CAD Technician include:
* Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and technical data sheets.
* Ensure all drawings are accurate, coordinated and up to date.
* Supporting design team with drawings preparation.
* Review and analyse MEP construction documents and designs.
* Ability to understanding limitations in design, building regulations and British Standards.
Experience Required:
* AutoCAD & 3DCAD and SolidWorks experience.
* Ideally 5 years’ experience working in a similar role such as a CAD Technician.
* Preferably an industry related Degree.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the M&E industry.
