Chemist, Permanent and Contract positions available, Salary £41,726 - Perm, Upto £23 an hour. - Contract

Working hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm, Fri 8am-1pm

This role involves managing chemicals, residues, and exhausts in compliance with regulations and internal procedures. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, responsibilities include overseeing NDT, water treatment, coolant systems, waste disposal, hazardous materials, REACH, Legionella control, and general health & safety.

Who this job would suit: This role suits individuals with extensive experience in coolant management systems and environmental waste streams. Strong knowledge of COSHH and REACH guidelines, chemical analysis, and regulatory health and safety requirements are essential. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills are also necessary.
