Support Road Co-ordinator

Support Road Co-ordinator – Join our team if you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding career! P&O Ferrymasters are looking for a Support Road Co-ordinator to join us in Shotton, North Wales.

Your role:

As the Support Road Co-ordinator you will join the team of transport professionals based on our site in Shotton, working as a team to ensure the smooth running of the customer contract.  You will be responsible for creating UK road loads for our customers in their SAP system and ensuring that delivery plans are met, and loads are optimised for payload and cost.

Key responsibilities

Planning loads for UK road movements to all UK delivery points.
Provide information to customer service and respond to queries.
Maximise payloads.
Liaise with customers and suppliers.
Prepare documentation to facilitate customer returns.
Ensure the system is accurate and up to date.
Resolve road planning related issues for customer service.
Deputise for Despatch Planning and Road Scheduling Team Leader as appropriate.

About you:

Ideally you will have previous experience in a logistics role and with SAP. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to prioritise and manage a workload. Good numeracy skills and knowledge of IT systems is required, and excellent customer service and H&S knowledge would be an advantage.
