Job Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will be expected to manage all customer communications ensuring that the appropriate key personnel at ATL and within the customers organisation, are informed and challenged to achieve agreed project scope, production plans and delivery schedules.

Main Duties

· Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.

· Developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs.

· Respond to customers communications in timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.

o New orders for existing parts

o New projects / new parts

o Technical queries / Design changes

· Regular and clear communication with your line manager to update on status and strategic customer activity.

· Monitoring sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and reporting

· Sales and margin forecasting

· Suggest methods to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

· Co-ordinate all elements of customer relations with internal ATL departments

· Attend networking events & exhibitions to present the business in existing and new markets.

· Use environmentally sustainable practices in accordance with our environmental policy.

· Seek ways to reduce waste and energy usage in accordance with our environmental objectives.

Job Requirements

· Any engineering-based degree / BTEC would be an advantage.

· Relevant industry knowledge/experience

Experience

· Proven work experience for a technical product-based employer

· Preferably in a manufacturing environment

· Customer facing experience as an account manager or executive.

· An interest in Motorsport / Engineering is desirable but not essential.?

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent time and project management skills

· An ability to challenge and influence opinions and decisions.

· An ability to learn & retain an in-depth knowledge of ATL’s products and capabilities.

· Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude

Package

· Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on relevant experience
