Your new company
Your new company will be one of Doncaster's largest and most innovative Manufacturing organisations that have stood proud in the region for over 40 years. Due to continuous growth, including the purchase and mergers of many businesses, they're looking to add an experienced Payroll Advisor to their team at the Head Office, providing a comprehensive Payroll service to the business.

Your new role
This role's purpose is to deliver a high quality end to end payroll service to the business in an accurate and timely manner and ensure Payroll and Benefits transactional activities that are accurate, of high quality with a focus on first class customer service and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

Processing and review of all weekly and monthly Payroll transactional activities, including occupational and statutory payments and deductions
Provide specialist advice and guidance to the business and our employees on all aspects of Payroll and PAYE
Responsible for ensuring all Payroll transactions are compliant and delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and internal Genuit policy
Supporting the business with queries relating to data processed through the time and attendance system
Support with the annual pay review and bonus process
Administration of Pension schemes including Auto Enrollment compliance requirements, regular reporting of membership and contribution data to the providers
Administration and reporting of employee benefits such as PMI, Life Assurance and SAYE
Supporting the annual production of P11d's for employee benefits in kind
Completion of specific pay period tasks as required by the Payroll Manager
Monitor and update Payroll process documentation to ensure they are up to date, fit for purpose and in accordance with business need
Continuously contribute and influence new initiatives and ways of working to improve process and systems to enhance Payroll service delivery
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience within a busy Payroll function, providing advisory services. You should be able to act as a subject-matter expert in relation to current UK payroll and pension legislation, with a passion for payroll controls and governance. A relevant Payroll qualification (CIPP) alongside your experience will be a benefit. You'll have operational experience of a large Payroll system (Workday is used, others considered) and you should be able to discuss evidence of continuous professional development relating to payroll and benefits. You'll be able to demonstrate good organisational awareness and an effective approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills to build constructive working relationships and have the confidence to challenge the status quo when required respectfully, to actively contribute to process and systems improvements.

What you'll get in return
The organisation are looking to offer up to £30,000 depending on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank hols, 1 day at home/hybrid working once training is complete and an 8% matched pension, with further benefits that can be discussed on application.
