Multi-Skilled Engineers, I’ve just been briefed on a fantastic opportunity from one of my clients.

Here’s the deal:

A leading food manufacturing business, known world wide for their product, are operating out of a state of art manufacturing site based in South Yorkshire, with active investments going into the business & active investment in your development, these are someone you WANT to be working with. 

As one of the Multi-Skilled Engineers on site, you’ll be on a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern. Three days on, three days off. Then three nights on, three nights off. Rinse and repeat. Perfect if you like having long stretches of free time. (And half of the year off!)

What you’ll be doing:

Fixing stuff. When machines break, you’ll be the one who gets them up and running again.
Preventing problems before they happen. Routine maintenance is key!
Diagnosing issues. Electrical, mechanical, PLC-controlled machinery – you’ll handle it all.
Working with the production team to keep everything running smoothly.
Keeping records of what you’ve done and making sure everything’s safe and up to standard.
What you need:

Experience as a multi-skilled engineer, preferably in food manufacturing.
Solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
The ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
Sharp problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
Independence, but also a team player.
Willingness to work the rotating shift pattern.
