Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our passionate and driven team.
This role is ideal for an actively studying accountant. Good management accounts knowledge, a personable character and the ability to deal with a busy workload are essential skills to be successful within this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Production of month-end results including posting of journals in conjunction with other finance team members
Business partnering with Operational Managers to monitor performance to budget
Build relationships with non-financial stakeholders and provide financial analysis, insight and guidance
Processing of accruals and prepayments in line with financial process and principles
Monitor and complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations monthly
Tracking and reconciling cash transactions through the business
Building relationships with other finance team members
Support sales ledger team with income allocation and billing details
Assisting with audit queries and ensuring accurate working papers to support all postings
Assist with forecasting and annual budgeting processes
Performance of any other ad-hoc duties as required
About You:
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
Planning and diary management skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet important deadlines.
Experience within a busy finance team working with a variety of stakeholders.
Confident communicator with ability to articulate financial information and analysis to stakeholders, both written and verbally.
Proficient analytical skills to investigate variances and trends.
Strong attention to detail with good Excel skills including the use of formula and pivot tables using multi-system source data tables.
Independent thinker, keen problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Minimum AAT level 3 with ambition to continue studying or sufficient QBE demonstrated through previous positions held.
Previously held assistant management accountant role is desirable.
Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable
