Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer (Project Engineer)
Location: Cheltenham
Type: Permanent
As the Project Electrical Design Engineer, your role involves handling all aspects of Electrical design within our design team. You'll lead projects to successful completion, ranging from full Industrial control installations to complex system test facilities and automatic test equipment for testing cables, test fixtures, automated process control, and electro-mechanical systems.

Skills You Will Bring:
To be an Electrical Design Engineer here with Belcan, you will need a strong understanding of LV directives and relevant electrical standards. Preferably experienced in Solidworks Electrical for creating detailed drawings, however will consider other design package experience. The ability to design schematics and test circuits from first principles. Familiarity with mechanical/electronic systems is a must. You'll be proficient in producing drawings and comprehensive document sets for complex systems. As this role will include project management, clear communication with customers, colleagues, managers, and suppliers will be essential. Familiarity with Visual Basic, C++, C#, or C. Python scripting and Arduino experience are advantageous but not a must.
Qualifications:
You will be time-served or Degree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
