Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a busy sheet metal manufacturing business find a Press Brake Setter to work a 12 hour night shift Monday to Thursday, the role comes with an excellent salary up to £35,000 per annum and benefits package.
As a Press Brake Setter you will set and operate AMADA Brake Presses as well as other machines concerned with sheet metal production. Please be advised that this is working a 12-hour night shift which is Monday to Thursday.
As a Press Brake Setter, you will carry out the following day-to-day:
Loading and checking programmes as per the job sheet and selecting the correct materials
Loading and unloading parts into an Amada Press brake
Quality inspection of parts using equipment and gauges, ensuring they have been folded within tolerance
Working from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards

Previous experience with setting and operating a Press Brake
The ability to interpret and work to engineering drawings
The ability to plan and work from one's own initiative, with minimum supervision
Previous experience of working from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards
