SEND Teaching Assistant
ASAP START DATE & September 2024 start date
A school in Failswroth, M40 are looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team - long term, to support pupils within their SEN provision. The role will be supporting children with mixed abilities and year groups from KS1 - KS2. This is a great opportunity for somebody who already has previous experience working with children. You must have experience previously working with children.
About the role:
* Full Time - term time.
* Supporting with work preparation, maths and literacy support, supporting pupils in small groups or offering 1:1 support.
* Be confident in supporting children with SEN.
* Have an understanding and caring nature.
* Hold a good attitude towards education!
* Be reliable and consistent!
The schools are keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience, you are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience in specialist provision or have current or prior experience support/care/ youth worker etc. Ideally if you have supported individuals with additional needs, that would be desirable however this is not essential to be successful.
