Council Operative
We are recruiting for a Council Operative to work out of the Quarry Hill Industrial Depot for the local Council on a on-going basis
Details of the Council Operative
Salary: £12.18 per hour
Hours of work are-
Working Wednesday to Sunday every week (Apply online only))
37 hours per week
Location: Ilkeston
Duration: Ongoing - can lead to permanent opportunities for suitable candidatesRole of the Council Operative :
To maintain the public conveniences (Toilets) within the Borough of Ilkeston
Street Cleaning and emptying of the public waste bins
Dealing with the general public
Full , clean driving licence is required
You must be happy to be working alone at some times
Will also need to have the ability to organise work effectively with the team ,safety as the first priority.
Reporting directly to the Parks and Gardens managerBenefits of the Council Operative :
