Nursery Deputy Manager
Full time role
37.5 hours per week
June/July start date
A wonderful nursery based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking for a new deputy manager to bring in fresh ideas, you will be an integral part of the management team, providing professional leadership and management to the playroom staff. Your primary goal is to ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain high standards of care and education.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Foster positive working relationships with staff, parents, and carers.
Support playroom staff to feel confident and effective in their roles.
Oversee the effective daily management of all company policies, procedures, statutory welfare requirements, and Ofsted expectations.
Serve as a role model, demonstrating high-quality practices in individual and group work with children.
Assist the nursery manager in ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed according to local authority and company guidelines.
