Commercial Catering Engineer

Our client in Swindon are looking for a permanent experienced Commercial Catering Engineer with COMCAT (Commercial Catering Appliance Testing) certification to join their team. The primary role of the position will be fault finding and servicing of Commercial Catering & Warewashing Equipment, but at times you will also be required to carry out installations alone and with other engineers.

Position Overview:

As a Commercial Catering Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial catering equipment. Your expertise and knowledge in COMCAT certification will ensure that all appliances are compliant with safety regulations and operating at optimal efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. COMCAT Certification (COMCAT 1, 3, 5)

2. Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Commercial Catering Engineer

3. Technical Knowledge

4. Strong Diagnostic Skills

5. Compliance and Safety

6. Communication Skills

7. Time Management and Organization

8. Customer Service

9. Valid Driver’s License

The ideal candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills. They need to be enthusiastic, work well with people, an excellent communicator and be able to show initiative but also take direction well.

Salary upto £40k per annum with overtime regularly available.
