Machine Operator
*Please note the role is initially based in Treforest Industrial Estate. All fuel will be covered when travelling to Treforest*
Job Role
* Carry out the range of hand assembly & packaging duties required to the set packaging specifications.
* Produce products to the quality standards required & achieve set out-put rates.
* Apply best practice standards in all areas of H&S, quality produced, standard operating procedures (SOP's) & data recording
* Demonstrate good house keeping
* Ability to run manufacturing machines.
* Ensure PPE is maintained & used as prescribed
* Create & maintain accurate records relating to assembly / packaging out-puts & down time. Ensure all paperwork including start-up check sheets are completed daily
* Support & train other operators as required.
* Sharing experience, best practice, relaying all relevant knowledge & information with colleagues
* Any other duties as required by the Production Manager
Role Requirements
* Experienced machine operator
* Good standard of written English & Math's
* Good communication skills
* Understand & use of measuring equipment - ruler, scales etc.
* Ambitious and candidate looking to develop
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Pay: £12.50 per hour
