JOB TITLE:Industrial Engineer II
LOCATION:Merritt Island, Florida
SHIFT:A shift Monday Friday 8am 5pm ET
ONSITE REQUIREMENT:Onsite
DURATION:6 months
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct time-motion studies directly in the field, gathering data and analyzing it to identify issues and propose solutions.
* Perform detailed analyses aimed at improving operations and determining hourly labor requirements.
* Develop ad hoc queries and reporting to track and monitor operating performance, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
* Participate actively in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
* Consolidate and validate industrial engineering models, contributing to the success of the NEW GLENN project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
* 4+ years of experience in manufacturing within a production environment.
* Proficiency in factory flow, process modeling, and simulations.
* Demonstrated ability in leading continuous improvement initiatives and value stream mapping events.
* Strong analytic skill set with proficiency in data mining and Excel.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
DESIRED:
* Advanced degree or certifications in Operations Management, MSE, or MBA.
* Experience in manned space flight production and Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
* Project Management Certification (PMP) and experience transitioning development to production.
* Strong teaming skills and experience with manufacturing organizations and supply chain.
