JOB DESCRIPTION:
FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT
* Performs intermediate-level wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks, such as using tools, inspecting turbines, and documenting work.
* Gathers information about turbine performance and issues, and diagnoses and recommends solutions.
* Follows a structured problem-solving process to troubleshoot and diagnose turbine problems.
* Works independently and follows instructions from higher-level technical staff.
HERE ARE SOME SPECIFIC EXAMPLES OF THE TASKS THAT SOMEONE IN THIS POSITION MIGHT DO:
* Inspect wind turbines for damage and wear.
* Lubricate and replace moving parts.
* Repair electrical and mechanical components.
* Operate and maintain specialized tools.
* Gather data and create reports.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
* Recommend and implement solutions.
