Our client is seeking a Rental Manager to lead a sales team with a primary focus on power generation equipment and construction equipment rentals. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a proven track record in the rental industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive revenue growth, foster a high-performance team culture, and effectively capitalize on opportunities in the power generation and construction equipment rental market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, with a specific emphasis on backup generator rentals.
Identify and capitalize on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Backup Generator Rentals Focus:
Drive sales initiatives specifically targeting backup generator rentals for various applications, including events, construction projects, and emergency preparedness.
Collaboration with Operations:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination between sales and equipment delivery/installation.
Address any operational challenges impacting sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Industry experience in the rental equipment market
Knowledge of power generation equipment and construction equipment
2+ years experience in a rental equipment position
Territory management experience.
Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and listening skills
