Site Plater Welder

Wright Engineering, an engineering and construction industry leader, are recruiting for site plater/welders to join our construction division on a permanent basis.

* Working on sites and projects throughout the UK

* Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 + optional overtime

* £17.93 per hour basic pay + £1.87 per hour working away bonus

* Pre-booked hotel accommodation - single rooms

* Daily working away food & drink allowance

* Overtime rates of £26.90 per hour and £35.86 per hour

* 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)

* Free secure on-site parking

The role:

* Working on a diverse range of projects in sectors such as Power Stations, Quarries, Construction, Manufacturing and more.

* Travelling to various sites to work in new and challenging environments.

* Perform precision welding and plating tasks in medium to heavy engineering settings.

* Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications to execute site-based modifications.

* Fabricate and join metal parts using various welding processes and materials for construction and structural integrity.

* Problem solving on-site issues and ensuring adherence to the highest safety and quality standards.

Experience:

* FCAW Welding - 3 years

* MIG Welding - 3 years

* MMA Welding - 3 years

* CCNSG Safety Passport / CSCS
