Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a talented finance professional for a new role within a dynamic services group.  The  Finance Business Partner will join an experienced  finance team in Manchester and play a pivotal role in supporting and partnering various internal and external stakeholders across Europe.  You will provide financial insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to drive informed decision-making, improve performance, and maximize profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and commercially-minded finance professional to contribute to the success and growth of the organisation. 

The role would suit a qualified management accountant wanting to take on a more influential, commercial role.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Prepare accurate and timely management reports and performance metrics for relevant stakeholders.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable insights to business units
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to understand their financial needs and objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial guidance and support to drive strategic decision-making.
Proactively identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
Lead the annual budgeting process by working closely with department heads to develop realistic financial plans aligned with business goals.
Monitor and track budget performance, providing variance analysis and recommendations to support financial control and accountability.
Assist in the monthly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business expectations.

You will ideally be a qualified accountant or finalist with good all round management accounting skills and possess the drive and personality to influence key decision makers.
