Necto Selection are currently working with a growing Construction and specialist contractor in Newry that due to new Education and pharma projects require two new Quantity Surveyors. You will support a Senior QS with travel to site 2-3 days per week in North Dublin.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Assist the Senior QS with all commercial issues within the project(s).
* Prepare internal commercial reports and other required documentation.
* Prepare Valuations
* Prepare Cost Reports
* Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
* Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts from requisitions to payment authorisation and final accounts.
* Conduct contract administration, including change management and maintaining registers.
* Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering, and change.
* Manage cost control
* Maintain accurate site records.
* Implement a WBS structure to meet client and contract requirements.
* Assist in preparing the Cost to Complete and Risk Analysis Register for the project(s).
* Measure quantities according to standard methods of measurement as required.
* Manage client relationships effectively.
* Maximise cash position
* Perform additional duties
