Plant Fitter / Maintenance Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen to complement the maintenance division of an established plant hire company. We are looking for an experienced plant fitter / maintenance technician to work within the Ripon area. You will assist in the service, maintenance and repair of plant equipment to ensure minimal downtime on while out on sites.

ROLE: PLANT FITTER / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

SALARY: £26,000 - £30,000 + Overtime at time and half
Hours 7.30am-5pm
Alternate Saturdays 8am-12pm paid overtime

You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair a number of plant equipment and tools within a workshop environment.

You will have your own range of tools (specialist tools will be supplied by the client)

You will be required to service, trouble shoot and maintain each unit under your control.

You will comply with all company policies and ensure a good standard of safety is employed during your activity

Preferred but not essential skills: NVQ Level 2 or above in Plant Maintenance

EXPERIENCE: Plant Fitter, Maintenance Technician.

You will be an apprentice trained, time served or qualified plant fitter.

Experience on diggers, dumpers, telehandlers, excavators and rollers.
