BUSINESS SUPPORT EXECUTIVE

Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle & Gardens.

Location: Hampton Court / Tower of London 1 day per week / homeworking

Salary: £33,200 Pro Rata
Days/Hours of work: Part-time, 21.6 hours (3 days) per week

About the role

HRP’s new Business Support Executive will work at the heart of the organisation with the Company Secretary to provide administrative support for HRP’s Directors of Corporate Services and Finance.

As well as managing diaries, scheduling meetings, liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, managing meeting logistics and supporting the two directors generally you’ll be providing administrative support to a number of related business areas including Governance, Health and Safety, Information Systems, Human Resources, Internal Communications, Finance and Procurement.

You will also be responsible for the financial administration across the two directorates, raising purchase orders against the relevant cost centres; paying invoices promptly, keeping accurate and up to date financial records.

About you

You will also be responsible for the financial administration across the two directorates, raising purchase orders against the relevant cost centres; paying invoices promptly, keeping accurate and up to date financial records.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an executive or personal assistant in a fast-paced environment and an aptitude for providing support for busy executive level directors.

You will need to be able to deliver work to tight deadlines and be comfortable liaising with senior colleagues.

Excellent IT skills, some knowledge of EFin (or similar financial management package) and extensive use of Sharepoint and a flexible approach will also be requirements.
