Our client, a leading construction company in the water industry, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior QS, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of projects within the water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the financial aspects of projects within the water industry
Preparing cost estimates and budgets
Conducting risk analysis and value engineering assessments
Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
Monitoring project progress and reporting on financial performance
Providing accurate and timely financial advice to project teams
Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations
Collaborating with stakeholders and clients to resolve financial issues
Job Requirements:
Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the water industry
Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Professional qualification or membership in quantity surveying
