Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford

Salary: £30,000 - £41,333 per annum
Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons to students
Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, assignments, and examinations
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and learning environment
Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Demonstrated knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Science
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science education
Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education or Science-related field
Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Experience using technology in the classroom to enhance learning
Working Conditions:
Regular working hours, typically Monday to Friday
Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
