Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team to work in Bangor, North Wales. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health conditions. Responsibilities:

- Assess and evaluate the mental health needs of patients, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.

- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatments.

- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to individuals and their families, promoting recovery and well-being.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

- Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients, adjusting care plans as necessary.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.

- Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse, preferably in an inpatient or community setting.

- Strong knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, and interventions.

- Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.

- Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.

- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional certifications or training in specific mental health specialties.

- Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment.

- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health.
