• Work closely with business partners and other departments on projects (e.g. CSRD reporting, Transition managed service provider, Billing team, SAP improvements
• Challenge and improve existing processes and controls and implement new processes / controls and guidelines within an European environment
• Be contact person for auditors and tax consultants
• Support the Accounting team for accuracy and compliance in accounting & tax for our legal entities and more than 20 branches
• Review the monthly / quarterly Reporting package prepared by the Shared Service Center
• Support the review of other tax reportings (e.g. Intrastat, SAFT-Report, etc.) which is prepared by our Shared Service Center /local tax consultants for IONITY and its branches if needed
• Support the general coordination & management of the outsourced Shared Service Center and the different local teams of our tax consultant

Your profile

• Bachelor- / Master degree in business administration with focus on accounting, taxes or auditing or comparable education e.g. certified accountant, tax specialist
• You gained your professional experience of min. five years in the mentioned areas ideally in a tax-/auditing company or in a company with an European environment
• You have a deep understanding of accounting rules and accounting principles according to HGB and IFRS
• SAP S4hana public cloud / SAP knowledge would be preferable
• You have a strong understanding of accounting processes and like to challenge existing processes / implement new processes
• You are solution oriented and like to work on different projects together with other departments
• VAT knowledge would be preferable
• Analytical mind sent, conscientious, independent, and structured way of working
• Very good Team and communication skills at all levels
• Very good language skills in German and English, MS Office esp. Excel and ideally SAP/S4 hana public cloud skills
