Highbury Recruitment are working in conjunction with a long standing engineering company in Norwich to find a Facility Project Manager on a contract basis to implement the upgrade of a test facility. 

You will be the point of contact and the internal driver with responsibility for planning and organising resources, identifying and resolving issues to ensure the HV test facility upgrade is completed on time, within budget and to business requirements. 

Thee successful candidate will : 

Take ownership of the project from receipt of tender file from the stakeholder through to project completion. 

Act as the main focal point for all communication between the customer and operations. 

Proactively monitor project progress, involving liaison with all stakeholders. 

Generate Project programmes, monitor progress against the programme and report on progress in a timely manner and to the customers’ requirements. 

Organise and attend internal meetings. 

Organise and attend customer meetings as required, including for the purpose of reviewing progress. 

Maintain Project Status Reports, including identifying and highlighting deviations from budget to relevant Managers. 

Report on any perceived shortfall in product or services in a timely manner to enable corrective action to be taken.

You must have relevant experience in a similar role, be proactive and communicate at a high level. 

We ask that you are educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering.  Having a Project Manageement Qualification would be highly advantageous.

Hours of work are : 37.5 hours per week 

Mon-Thu 7:45-16:30 (12:30-13:00 unpaid lunch break) 

Fri 7:45-12:15 (no lunch break)
