Salary: £25,000-£32,000We are seeking a Production Planner to join a busy production team. Reporting to the UK Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing job card routings and allocations to various levels of manufacture, ensuring economic and efficient methods.

Day to Day of the role:

Develop route cards to ensure the most economic and efficient methods of manufacture, liaising with the programming department.
Issue all documentation to the shop floor in a timely manner via work to lists.
Control all rework operations as a result of NCRs, modifying route sheets if required.
Participate in Pre-production Meetings to determine optimal manufacturing methods.
Assist the Production Scheduler to ensure each work centre is effectively loaded.
Provide advice and assistance to the Sales Department to enable accurate quotations in terms of cost and lead time.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Produce shop floor documentation to the correct standards in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping and adhere to the 5S program.
Demonstrate excellent timekeeping and attendance.Job Requirements:

Experience of scheduling CNC Machining operations and outside services is desirable but not essential.
Responsiveness and ability to work to tight deadlines/schedules.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Fully IT proficient in typically used applications to manage information and present to the business and customer
