Position Overview:
The Senior Executive Business Development plays a crucial role in expanding the company's market reach by successfully partnering with targeted insurer partners and agencies. This role involves working closely with the international team to develop strategies and execute targeted partnerships swiftly, ensuring rapid market entry. The Senior Executive Business Development will also focus on preparing winning presentations and communications while performing consistent follow-up with relevant points of contact.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with targeted insurer partners and agencies to drive market growth.
Collaborate with the international team to create and execute strategies for successful partnerships with efficiency and speed.
Conduct in-depth research on regulations, insurer requirements, and other areas to inform strategic planning.
Assist in the rapid iteration of platform development for optimal market success.
Craft persuasive presentations and communications to win partnerships and maintain strong relationships.
Perform consistent, daily follow-up with key points of contact to ensure partnership success.
Exhibit strong sales, communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrate excellent negotiation abilities and a methodical, detail-oriented approach.
Embrace a "can-do" attitude, professionalism, passion, ownership, and teamwork.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
Requirements
Relevant experience in business development, particularly within the insurance industry or related fields.
Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and presentation.
Proven ability to work with international teams and adapt to various cultural settings.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
