Reco Development Manager

Interested in joining our team at Schutz? We are currently looking to recruit a new and key member of our reconditioning (Reco) team, who will be responsible for the management of existing Reco return customer accounts, and also for the development of new Reco return business.

Reco Development Manager

Location/Area: UK (South) / Worksop (Office)

Competitive basic salary, plus bonus

Permanent; Full Time

The successful candidate will be professional, motivated and pragmatic in providing support and solutions as required, and will ideally have external field-based experience, particularly in the Packaging or Chemicals industry.

What will you need?

* Competence and understanding in business

* Experience in an external role ideally in the field of industrial packaging or chemicals

* Professional presentation and negotiation skills

* Competence with regard to customer service and attention to detail

* Understanding and willingness to develop service solutions to support the customer

* A passion for sustainability

* Willingness to travel

* Willingness to perform independently, and the ability to work in a team

* Competence in the use of MS Office, ideally also ERP systems incl. SAP and CRM

* Full clean driving licence

What will you be doing?

* Management of existing returns customers from the chemical, lubricants, paints, coatings, pharmaceutical and food industries

* Development of customer relationships through personal support and professional consulting based on individual customer needs and requirements

* Development and identification of additional return business, in line with Company strategy and in compliance with legislative requirements

* Generation of new return business opportunities including new market potentials and strategic negotiations

* Undertaking and reporting market, industry and competition analysis

* Introduction of products and services to new and existing customers

* Working in tandem with the external Sales team to formulate joint opportunities for increased business
