A variety of products are received each working day at our company and the main function (but not the sole function) of the ‘Goods In/Storeman is to safely receive those materials and then place them in their designated storage area. The amount of work this will represent each day will vary greatly. When there are no incoming deliveries to deal with, then the role will involve handling of goods and materials to aid the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Goods In: Check goods against delivery notes, report discrepancies, and update records.
* Loading/Unloading: Manage delivery queues, oversee safe unloading, and ensure proper handling.
* Material Handling: Move materials to designated areas, prepare for production, and ensure timely storage.
Required Qualifications:
* Counterbalance Forklift Licence
* Side Loader Licence
* Experience with MRP Systems (Mie-Track preferred)
* Excellent communication skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
