Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician – 3 Shift Pattern (Mornings, Days and Nights)
Location: Tyne & Wear
Salary: £46,000 per annum (Including shift allowance)
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for the maintenance, commissioning, defect diagnosis, and rectification of Electrical Systems. Leveraging your deep knowledge of Electrical systems, you'll tackle complex challenges to ensure optimal system performance. You'll also supervise designated trials and commissioning activities, ensuring strict adherence to company SHE procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance, commissioning, fault-finding, and rectification of Electrical Systems
* Address complex challenges, issues, and faults arising during commissioning, operation, and system performance
* Breakdown response
* Diagnostics in order to resolve equipment issues
* Complete and update work orders and maintain the asset database
* Adhere to Safe Systems of Work as per company SHE procedures
* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Engineers
Skills and experience
* Must be a Time served apprentice ideally with a HNC/HND
* Must have 17th or 18th edition Wiring Regulation qualification
* Manufacturing industry experience
* Previous experience working to time pressure and performance metrics
