Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Health & Safety Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager, who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Health & Safety Manager , will be responsible for:
* Actively participating in investigations, meetings, audits.
* Providing training to promote efficiency and practicality within our QHSE function.
* Building positive relationships with fellow QHSE team members and clients.
* Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
* Ensuring that operational managers and staff are well-trained.
* Providing guidance on Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) issues.
* Ensuring everyone understands their legal and company obligations whilst promoting an engaging.
* Positioning health and safety culture within the workplace.
* Conducting specialised risk assessments, investigating accidents.
* Managing QHSE-related documentation, and aiding in insurance claim processes.
* Handling contract mobilisations with QHSE considerations, collaborate with the QHSE team to achieve organisational goals.
* Advocating for QHSE in meetings.
* Maintaining regional forums for employee engagement, and liaising with authorities.
To be successful for this Health & Safety Manager role you must have:
* 5 years' experience in QHSE.
* Qualification, such as NEBOSH and/or an IOSH membership.
* Experience in operating at a managerial level.
* Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently are essential qualities.
