Join Proactive Personnel in their search for a skilled fabricator welder to undertake specialized plate and section works in carbon and stainless steels for their client located in Maidstone. We are looking for a candidate who is a time-served apprentice and possesses expertise in intricate medium to heavy plate and section work across different materials.
This role offers the opportunity to work both in the shop and on-site.
Welder Fabricator Responsibilities:
Use hand and power tools to weld and fabricate metal parts
Perform welding and sheet metal work
Assemble components according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Conduct quality checks on finished products
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Welder Fabricator Skills:
Proficiency in welding techniques
Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
Strong mechanical knowledge
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Experience in stick welding and sheet metal fabrication
Capability to assemble components accurately
Pay is competitive, ranging from £15 to £18 per hour, with overtime opportunities available
