Job Description
Coverage Camp Directors are key members of our camp leadership team at Galileo Learning. When single site Camp Directors are unavailable, Coverage Camp Directors may step in at any time as acting Camp Directors across a number of sites in their region. When not acting as Camp Director, Coverage CDs are assigned to one location to support the leadership team and step in as needed for onsite coverage needs. This location might change week to week or day to day. The role involves managing staff, seamlessly overseeing day-to-day operations, and creating a joy-filled summer camp culture. 
YOU WILL
When scheduled to fill a Camp Director's absence, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of daily camp operations and facilitating an efficient and joy-filled program.  You’ll flex your creative problem-solving skills as you juggle competing priorities and anticipate the needs with agility and positivity.
You’ll leverage existing (and carefully crafted) training and resources to masterfully manage your time and responsibilities, efficiently tracking your workflow details and calendar in the pre-season and throughout the summer.
When not scheduled to fill a Camp Director absence, you’ll provide support in whatever way most benefits your leadership team. This could include a variety of tasks from providing feedback on classroom instruction, to administrative tasks and supporting staff professional development, to creating camp culture and traditions and delivering excellent customer service to camp families.This will also frequently look like stepping in as a substitute for any and all role at camp, at a moments notice. 
You’ll contribute to and participate in daily camp activities, including check-in and check-out, opening/closing ceremonies and snack & lunch supervision and programming
Regional Camp Directors will report to the Field Leadership Team and receive professional development and ongoing coaching

Benefits & Compensation
We anticipate total compensation for this role to range from $7,500 - $10,900:While working part-time in the pre-camp season: $21/ hour (estimated 6-8  hours per week, February - early June)
While filling in as a Camp Director full-time, for 5 days or more: $25/ hour 
While supporting at any camp location in any capacity for any duration of time or when filling in as a Camp Director for less than 5 days: $21/hour
