Your key responsibilites:
Leadership of technical activities for the transfers/introduction of products to third parties (process, technology, analytics, capacity, resources)
In collaboration with manufacturing experts, providing technical expertise
Providing support with the selection of a CMO site and responsibility for the conformity of the technology to be transferred / introduced
In collaboration with the transferring site or TRD, defining and monitoring the scope, time schedule and progress of technical projects
Compilation of documents for manufacturing process transfer (protocol, report)
Coordination of feasibility batches, registration batches and validation batches at the site
Initiating the monitoring and continuous process verification phase
Ensuring compliance of all the activities with the existing standards (current manufacturing practices, HSE, regulatory requirements, etc.)
Supporting continuous process and quality improvements
Assisting the Quality department in ensuring inspection preparedness (pre-approval inspection)
Providing conditions for and control over the implementation of HSE tasks and requirements in the unit
What you ll bring to the role:
University degree in pharmacy, chemistry or other equivalent natural science degree
Fluency in English, knowledge of local language preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
8-10 years of relevant working experience
Experience in drug substance manufacturing and/or development (small or large molecules)
Experience in a matrix organization
Commitment to travel
Languages: excellent business English
Location: the position can be based in Kundl (AT), Ljubljana (SLO) or Madrid (ES). Please note, that we currently cannot provide relocation support for this position.

Applications for Austria: In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 73.112,90/year (on a full time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
