Our client is looking for Junior Procurement, this role is to Assisting in purchasing goods, materials and services. 1-3 years experience required and construction or Civil engineering experience would be proffered. Job location is in Norway.
Key Roles & Responsibility
* Support the supplier procurement process.
* Assisting in purchasing goods, materials and services.
* Assisting in analysing the different purchase criteria -price, quantity and delivery.
* Providing updates to the team and internal requesters regarding critical dates.
* Ensure site delivery requirements are met.
* Produce price comparisons and update the procurement system.
* Support the supplier procurement process.
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders and deliveries are managed smoothly, on time and up to the agreed standards.
* Resolving queries and discrepancies with key stakeholders e.g., accounts department, suppliers, internal requesters, etc.
* Updating suppliers contacts and other relevant details.
Experiences, Skills and Behavioural Competencies :
* Work experience is desirable but is not essential

* Good organisational skills
* Critical thinking and good attention to details
* Good communication skills
* Proactivity
* Experience with Microsoft applications, e.g., word, excel, etc.
The successful candidate will be based to Sotra Link project (in Norway) A 9.4 km long four-lane road to be built in Vestland county. The Sotrasambandet bridge and tunnel system comprises 19 car and pedestrian underpasses, 23 tunnel portals, 22 bridges and viaducts, new four-lane motorways and 14 km of pavements and cycle paths. About 24 km of two-lane access roads will also be built. It is expected to open on June 1, 2027
