Project Engineers

We have a current opportunity for a Project Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based near Oviedo, Spain and will be a three year project, to build a carbon neutral facility for the production of cathode active materials.

What you will do:

Prepare, revise, and approve technical documentation for the design phases of projects
Ensure that project documents are complete and optimal for a competitive and fair tender process
Support the procurement phase of specific components and works
Control costs during execution of projects
Supervise the construction, installation, and commissioning of assigned projects
Work with other engineering teams to integrate the work with other specialties into the final project solution
Manage vendors and contractors onsite
Perform or support commissioning of the equipment before handing over to the Process team
Perform engineering and technical support to the projects when neededTo be successful in this role, you will need:

A degree in engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in the manufacturing industry
Strong project management skills
Excellent technical skills
The ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
