Brook Street (UK) Ltd are delighted to work on behalf of a leading Public Sector Organisation to source a Senior Clerical Officer on a temporary-ongoing basis within the Financial Systems Department based in Omagh.
The Senior Clerical Officer will play a key role as an admin liaison for both internal and external stakeholders.

General Office Administrative duties will include (and are not limited to):

Checking meals returns from schools and ensuring lodgements are correct
Take card payments from customers
Keying receipts on Oracle in relation to the bank accounts
Preparing journals for any payments from the bank accounts
Reconciling the bank accounts in Cash Management on Oracle
To provide administrative support in relation to all aspects of the work of the section using the full range of IT equipment including typing, databases, spreadsheets, email, intranet, and internet facilities.
To provide advice and assistance to Education Authority officers, customers, the public and other professionals in respect of agreed aspects of the service.
To assist in the collation of factual data and statistical information from various sources to support the work identified.
To prepare letters, minutes, notes, and other clerical support to officers as appropriate.
Customer service (Telephone/directly customer facing).The Successful Candidate will have:

A minimum of one year's experience in an office-based administrative role
Hold a minimum of five GCSE passes (grades A*-C) or equivalent or higher
Financial accounts administration experience is advantageous

This is a full-time role based in Omagh working 36 standard hours per week Monday-Friday (Apply online only), and the rate of pay is £12.52 per hour.
