Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a supportive department dedicated to excellence in mathematics education.
Utilize innovative teaching methods to engage students and deepen their understanding of mathematical theories.
Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and encouragement in your teaching approach.
Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment in the classroom.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Participate in collaborative meetings with colleagues and engage with parents as needed.
Develop and implement effective lesson plans, homework assignments, and teaching resources.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A degree in mathematics and a recognized teaching credential (QTLS, QTS, or PGCE).
Proven excellence in the classroom and a strong grasp of mathematical theories.
A professional and supportive teaching approach that inspires student confidence and engagement.
A current Child Enhanced DBS on the Updating Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
